Bio:

Dennis Davis is a dynamic and experienced speaker. He developed the BEHAVIORAL RISK MANAGEMENT PROGRAM, intended to help organizations reduce the risk and exposure of inappropriate behavior in the workplace, and HR ON-LINE, a web based supplement to Human Resources departments.  Dr. Davis is a nationally recognized expert in the areas of Violence in the Workplace, Professional Interaction, Conflict Resolution, Sexual Harassment, and Cultural Diversity.  He has conducted extensive Behavioral Risk Management trainings, effectively emphasizing communication techniques, behavior modification and employee motivation for university personnel, government agencies, and private corporations across the United States.  In addition, Dr. Davis is the author of the very well received book, Threats Pending, Fuses Burning: Managing Workplace Violence; and What Everyone Needs to Know About: Preventing Workplace Violence.

Dr. Davis has over ten years of law enforcement consulting experience.  In that role he has worked with local, state and federal law enforcement agencies.  He has conducted pre-employment screening, critical incident stress debriefing, academy training, and management consultation across the nation.

Dr. Davis holds a Ph.D., M.A. and B.A. in psychology.  His research interests include societal violence; workplace motivation; influencing human behavior; and social tolerance.
