INTERNATIONAL PRACTICE GROUP


Ogletree Deakins’ International Practice Group consists of attorneys from across the country and Caribbean, who provide top quality client service to employers operating across national boundaries. 

Our attorneys have assisted clients with legal and employment related issues in numerous countries across the globe, including Anguilla, Antigua, Argentina, Aruba, Bahamas, Barbados, Belgium, Bermuda, Brazil, British Virgin Islands, Canada, Cayman Islands, China, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, France, Germany, Honduras, Hong Kong, Ireland, Jamaica, Japan, Luxembourg, Mexico, Netherlands, Nicaragua, Panama, the Philippines, Singapore, St. Lucia, St. Maarten/St. Martin, Trinidad & Tobago, Turks & Caicos, the United Kingdom, and Venezuela.  

Members of this practice group are fluent in Chinese, French, German, Hungarian, Japanese, Korean, Russian, and Spanish and have a working knowledge of Italian and Portuguese.

We also have unique experience advising U.S. companies, including those under attack from international unions as part of global corporate campaigns, with respect to activities of various international organizations, such as the International Labor Organization (ILO), International Organization of Employers (IOE), the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), and World Trade Organization (WTO). We have worked closely with the U.S. Department of Labor's International Labor Affairs Bureau (ILAB), as well as the Chamber of Commerce through its Subcommittee on International Labor Law, and with the United States Council for International Business, which serves as the official U.S. Employer Representative to various international organizations such as the ILO and OECD.

Providing one-stop global coordination of labor and employment law strategies for U.S. multinational businesses with foreign interests regarding:
