Alex Santana

Profile

Alex Santana is a labor and employment associate in the Los Angeles office of Ogletree Deakins.  Mr. Santana represents and advises employers in all aspects of employment law, including wage-and-hour, compliance with state and federal regulations, discrimination and harassment.  In addition to labor and employment matters, Mr. Santana has litigated complex commercial disputes and antitrust matters in both state and federal court.

Prior to law school, Mr. Santana managed federally funded youth employment programs for the City of Pico Rivera in California.  Mr. Santana is fluent in Spanish and has previously conducted witness interviews of Spanish-speaking employees on behalf of employers. 

Experience

Experience: 

Mr. Santana’s litigation experience includes:

  • Representing employers in single-plaintiff actions by former employees in both state and federal court
  • Conducting internal investigations on behalf of the Audit Committees of financial institutions and high-technology companies
  • Representing the foreign parent and domestic subsidiary of a large electronics manufacturer in connection with nationwide antitrust class-action cases pending in the Northern District of California
