Alysonne O. Hatfield

Profile

Ms. Hatfield graduated cum laude from the University of Alabama School of Law in May 2002. While at the University of Alabama, she was a senior editor of the Alabama Law Review, and was an oralist for the Phillip C. Jessup International Moot Court team. Ms. Hatfield joined Ogletree Deakins in August 2003, and her practice focuses on general labor and employment litigation.  She has represented corporate clients in all stages of employment litigation, including administrative actions before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, litigation in state and federal court, and through appeals to the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals.

In addition to litigation, Ms. Hatfield provides counsel to corporate clients on avoidance of employment disputes, development of personnel policies and training programs, and provides review of current employment decisions for compliance with federal and state employment law, including wage and hour law, Title VII, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, and the Hammon-Beason Alabama Taxpayer and Citizen Protection Act, among others.  She is honored to be a member of Best Lawyers of America, and to have bben selected as a Birmingham Super Lawyer Rising Star.
