Annie H. Cho

Profile

After graduation from college, Ms. Cho spent a year teaching English to elementary and junior high school students in rural Japan as a part of JET Programme. 

During law school, Ms. Cho worked at Legal Aid Society of Orange County and interned at Philadelphia Legal Assistance.  She also directed Street Law and taught Philadelphia city high school students about their constitutional rights.

After law school, Ms. Cho worked in New York.

  • Won summary judgment for a national restaurant chain on claims of sexual harassment
  • Defended nonprofit children’s services group against claims of sexual harassment, national origin/race discrimination
  • Represent clients in sexual harassment and disability discrimination
  • Won summary judgment for multinational employer on claims of disability discrimination and retaliation

General corporate litigation experience:

  • Represented national institutional pharmacy in $1 billion antitrust case
  • Represented national telecommunications company in breach of contract case and enforcement of money judgment
  • Represented individuals in defamation cases

Pro bono:

  • Won federal civil rights case in Arizona
  • Assisted AALDEF (Asian American Legal Defense and Education Fund) in wage and hour action
  • Assisted The Alliance for Children’s Rights in adoption cases
  • Assist KIND (Kids in Need of Defense) in representing asylum-seekers
