Profile

April focuses on all aspects of employment-related litigation, defending employers in collective and class actions as well as single-plaintiff actions involving wage/hour, employment discrimination, retaliation, harassment, employee benefits, and restrictive covenant claims arising under Title VII, ADEA, ADA, FLSA, ERISA, state law, and common law.  

April also counsels employers across a range of industries on litigation avoidance and compliance issues arising under employment discrimination laws, wage/hour statutes, FMLA, WARN Act, and USERRA, and advises employers responding to state and federal agency investigations.
