Mr. Morrison has represented management in employment matters for over 17 years.  After 7 years in private practice at the outset of his career, Mr. Morrison served as a senior attorney in the Litigation Division of Federal Express Corporation for over 3 years.  He then served as Senior Vice President and Counsel handling all employment matters for financial services institution First Horizon National Corporation for nearly 7 years, until joining the firm in 2011.

Experience

Experience: 

Mr. Morrison’s experience in both his corporate and firm settings includes serving as lead counsel in jury trials in state and federal courts as well as in arbitration settings.  Throughout his career, Mr. Morrison has advised and trained management in all facets of employment law, including matters arising under Title VII, the ADEA, the ADA, the FMLA, the FLSA, WARN and concomitant state laws.  He also has handled numerous non-competition and non-solicitation matters.
