Elisa I. Chen

Profile

Elisa Chen focuses her practice on management-side labor and employment law, including counseling clients on wage and hour and workplace safety issues, defending employers against discrimination and retaliation claims brought under Title VII of the 1964 Civil Rights Act, as amended, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, and the Family and Medical Leave Act, and litigates trade secrets issues regarding non-competition and non-solicitation agreements. Ms. Chen is licensed to practice in the state and federal courts of Colorado and Wyoming.

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Chen worked for another labor and employment boutique firm in Denver. In 2007, Ms. Chen clerked for the Hon. Colleen Kollar-Kotelly of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia and served as an International Leadership Foundation Public Affairs Fellow with the U.S. Department of Labor, Office of the Secretary working on the White House Initiative in 2005. 

Ms. Chen is also fluent in Mandarin Chinese and Taiwanese.
