Frederick F. Fisher

Profile

Mr. Fisher practices in the Charleston, South Carolina office of the national labor and employment law firm Ogletree, Deakins, Nash, Smoak & Stewart, P.C.  The firm concentrates its practice in the representation of management in labor, employment and personnel matters.  Mr. Fisher joined Ogletree Deakins in 2011 and focuses his practice on management-side employment litigation, including defense of claims involving employment discrimination, retaliation, harassment, wrongful discharge and breach of employment contracts.  Mr. Fisher’s practice also includes business and environmental defense litigation.

Mr. Fisher graduated from Emory University in 1998 with a B.A. in History. He received his juris doctor from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 2003, where he served as Managing Editor for the Southeastern Environmental Law Journal, and Treasurer for the Moot Court Bar. From 2003-2004, Mr. Fisher served as law clerk for the Honorable Wyatt T. Saunders, Jr. of the Eighth Judicial Circuit of South Carolina.  Prior to joining Ogletree Deakins, Mr. Fisher defended lawsuits brought in state and federal court covering a broad array of matters including professional malpractice, employment law, class action claims, commercial litigation and products liability.
