Bio:
Chris Archibald is an associate in the Orange County office. He practices in all areas of labor and employment law and has handled a wide variety of matters, including wage and hour class actions, trade secret litigation, sexual harassment, retaliation, age and disability discrimination, and wrongful termination claims. In addition to litigating, Chris regularly advises employers regarding effective methods to avoid employment-related claims, especially in the wage and hour context.
Chris also has extensive experience defending employers before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the California Department of Fair Employment and Housing, the Division of Labor Standards Enforcement, the California Unemployment Insurance Appeals Board, and various other federal and state agencies.
Chris represents or works with employers in a wide ranging, diverse group of industries, including automobile dealerships, equipment and food manufacturers, night clubs, restaurants, hospitality, physicians, retailers and wholesalers, and interstate transportation companies.
While in law school, Chris was a member of both the Pepperdine Law Review and Moot Court Board. He also placed in the Dalsimer Moot Court competition where he argued before United States Solicitor General Paul Clement in the final round. He graduated from Pepperdine with honors as a member of the Order of the Coif. Before attending law school, Chris worked in guest services for one of the top five-star luxury hotels in the world. |
