Bio:
Mr. Bortnick provides labor and employment counseling and litigation defense exclusively to employers. Mr. Bortnick has represented Fortune 500 companies in civil litigation matters since 2005. Mr. Bortnick graduated magna cum laude from the University of Illinois, where he was a Harno Scholar, Lincoln Scholar, and taught Speech Communication to undergraduates. During law school, Mr. Bortnick spent a year clerking for a national transportation company in their labor and employment department, where he took part in arbitrations and helped develop employment policies. Additionally, Mr. Bortnick finished in the top sixteen in the nation in the Green Moot Court competition and was awarded the Rickert Award for excellence in oral advocacy. Before law school, Mr. Bortnick worked as a financial advisor for a Fortune 100 company. |
