Bio:

Mr. Bixenstine is a Certified Specialist in employment and labor law, and an elected Fellow in the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers.  He also has a Yellow Belt certification from Legal Lean Sigma.  Providing clients the value of over 25 years experience, Bart covers the spectrum of personnel issues, including contract administration and force reductions. In addition, he is accomplished in employment immigration law.  He has specialized expertise in ADR programs.  He also has extensive experience in representing municipalities, public school districts and community college clients.  His practice also includes government contract law, FLSA compliance and noncompetition/trade secret litigation.

Mr. Bixenstine has over 25 years of experience providing legal counsel to employers and employees covering the entire range of personnel issues, including contract administration, hiring, employee termination and separation, mergers, relocations, force reductions and workplace investigation.

He is accomplished in obtaining both permanent residency and non-resident status for foreign employees on behalf of employers, in all significant employment-related visa categories.

Mr. Bixenstine has extensive experience in employment and labor-related litigation, including jury and bench trials, administrative hearings and arbitrations, with specialized expertise in analyzing statistical issues in employment litigation.  His experience also includes representing municipalities, public school districts and community college clients in employee relations matters, arbitrations and SERB proceedings.  In addition, he is experienced in drafting and negotiating employment, government, and commercial contracts.  He has specialized expertise in drafting and implementing Alternative Dispute Resolution programs.
