Jana S. Baker
Profile
Jana Baker represents clients in all aspects of employment and labor law, including federal and state discrimination cases filed under Title VII, the ADEA, the ADA, the FMLA and Wage and Hour laws. Ms. Baker also advises clients on a regular basis before litigation ensues in handling employment disputes and managing day-to-day employee issues. She provides counsel regarding leaves of absence, the accommodation of disabilities, preparation and implementation of employment policies, employee separations, employment agreements, and charges of discrimination.
Ms. Baker has participated in state and federal litigation matters involving all types of employment discrimination. She reviews and revises employee handbooks and policies for compliance with federal and state law and participates in general labor representation for clients.
Since 2005, Ms. Baker has been recognized annually as a "Rising Star" by Texas Monthly Magazine.
