Jill V. Cartwright

Jill V. Cartwright is an associate in the San Francisco Office of Ogletree Deakins where she represents management in all aspects of litigation. Ms. Cartwright has experience representing employers in employment discrimination, sexual harassment, wrongful discharge, wage and hour claims, as well as wage and hour class actions. She has represented unionized and non-unionized employers in a variety of industries including restaurant and hospitality, construction, motorcycle, and a local grocery store chain.
After law school, Ms. Cartwright clerked for the Honorable Mary Ellen Barbera with the Maryland Court of Appeals, Maryland’s highest court. During law school, Ms. Cartwright externed for the Honorable Leslie Tchaikovsky with the Northern District of California Bankruptcy Court.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Cartwright practiced employment law for California’s third largest insurance defense firm.
