John G. Creech
Profile
Mr. Creech has extensive experience in employment and labor law, having represented a diverse number of companies in these complex areas since 1973. His experience includes union elections and decertifications, mergers and acquisitions of union and nonunion companies, contract negotiations, strikes, and litigation of a wide variety of cases before various agencies and courts across the United States. He is a Certified Specialist in Labor and Employment Law by the South Carolina Supreme Court. Mr. Creech is a strong advocate of positive relations between companies and their employees. He is also an active speaker and teacher to members of management at all levels.
Experience
Mr. Creech primarily handles the following types of matters:
- Litigation of discrimination lawsuits and charges brought under Title VII, the ADEA, and the ADA in federal courts and before administrative agencies.
- Representation of clients involved in the purchase of unionized facilities which allow the client to operate in a nonunion manner or with a management-favorable contract.
- Union elections and decertifications in a variety of industries across the United States.
- Representation at contract negotiations, work stoppages, grievances, and arbitrations which has involved every major union in the United States.
- Training of supervisors concerning all aspects of employment and labor law matters.
- Counsel to employers on all matters concerning labor and employment law so as to avoid legal complications in a variety of circumstances.
