Julia M. Brumer

Profile

Ms. Brumer is an associate in the Boston office, where she represents employers in a broad range of employment and labor law matters. 

While in law school, Ms. Brumer was the Symposium Editor for the Northeastern University Law Journal. She also completed several legal internships, including a judicial internship with the Honorable Judge John C. Cratsley of the Massachusetts Superior Court, and clerkships with the Legal Aid Society – Employment Law Center of San Francisco, a leading Boston plaintiff’s side employment law firm, and a Washington, DC labor law firm.

Prior to joining Ogletree Deakins, Ms. Brumer served as an AmeriCorps Attorney at Casa Myrna Vazquez, a Boston non-profit that provides legal services to low-income survivors of domestic violence.

Ms. Brumer is a member of the Boston Bar Association, the Massachusetts Bar Association, and the Women’s Bar Association of Massachusetts. In addition, she volunteers for the Women’s Bar Foundation’s Family Law Project for Battered Women.
