Kathleen E. Kubis

Profile

As an associate with Ogletree Deakins, Ms. Kubis focuses her practice on all aspects of employment law.  She defends clients in federal and state employment-related lawsuits, including actions alleging discrimination, harassment, and retaliation.

While at Vanderbilt University Law School, Ms. Kubis interned for the Honorable John T. Nixon, U.S. District Court Judge for the Middle District of Tennessee, the Davidson County District Attorney’s Office, and the United States Attorney’s Office.  Additionally, she advised clients through Vanderbilt’s Civil Practice Clinic and served as a Notes Editor for the Vanderbilt Journal of Entertainment and Technology Law.

Prior to law school, Ms. Kubis worked in a litigation support role at an Atlanta-based law firm, and she also acted as a recruiter for an Atlanta-based accounting firm.
