Lauren H. Shine

Profile

Mrs. Shine practices employment-related litigation including workers’ compensation, retaliation, and discrimination. She is also an advisor on Medicare and Medicaid compliance with regards to settlements.

Experience

Experience: 

Mrs. Shine worked in human resources and marketing for her family’s media equipment business, Holt AV, where she drafted handbooks, contractor agreements and covenants not to compete as well as coordinated benefits, conducted training and ensured compliance.  She has in house experience with a major utility, where she litigated premises liability claims, fleet auto accidents, contract disputes and workplace injuries.  Her private practice has primarily concentrated on workers’ compensation, retaliatory discharge, premises liability and employment discrimination actions.  She enjoys training management on claim prevention, communication with medical providers, and strategies for return to work options.
