Mary Lou Hill has extensive legal experience in employment law and defense litigation.  Prior to joining Ogletree, Deakins, she was a partner in the Morgantown, West Virginia, defense firm of Furbee, Amos, Webb & Critchfield, representing employers in civil litigation, federal black lung, state workers’ compensation and employment discrimination cases.

Ms. Hill's areas of expertise include occupational safety and health, workers’ compensation and related laws. She has represented employers before federal and state occupational safety and health agencies and review boards, and is a frequent lecturer to attorney and management groups in the areas of occupational safety and health and employment law.
