Raymond S. Castro

Profile

Mr. Castro has over thirty (30) years of experience in litigation and employment law and is Board Certified as a specialist in Labor and Employment Law by the Florida Bar Association. His experience includes matters arising under Equal Employment Opportunity laws, Wage and Hour, NLRB, employment contracts, drug testing, executive severance contracts and employment litigation in state and federal court.

In 1969, Mr. Castro joined ITT Wonder Snack Foods and became Personnel Representative handling human resource and labor relations matters for a unionized facility of 400 employees. In 1974, he joined the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission as an investigator overseeing more than a thousand cases during his tenure. In 1980, he returned to private industry with Dobbs Houses, Inc. As Director of Labor Compliance, he handled all labor and employment matters for this international food service company of over 11,000 employees. In 1986, he joined Taco Bell in Irvine, California as its Employment Compliance Manager and was responsible for labor and employment matters for its 65,000 employees. In 1991, Mr. Castro joined ADVO, Inc., the largest direct mail marketing firm in the United States as Vice President of Human Resources, Atlantic Division.
