Russell Jackson represents management in employment litigation related matters on federal, state, and local levels before courts and administrative agencies.  Russell’s representation includes claims involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful discharge, restrictive covenants, wage and hour violations, unemployment compensation, and other aspects of the employee-employer relationship under various federal and state employment-related laws including Title VII, ADA, ADEA, FMLA, FLSA, NLRA and the OSH Act   Russell also works closely with employers to ensure compliance with federal and state laws governing the employment relationship.

Experience

Experience: 

Russell has successfully defended lawsuits in federal and state courts against claims of race discrimination, race harassment, sex discrimination, sexual harassment, disability discrimination, age discrimination, national origin discrimination, retaliation as well as various state law claims for many employers including large pharmaceutical companies, restaurant franchisees, equipment and appliance manufacturers, global logistics companies, telecommunications companies, financial institutions, security companies, department stores and hotel management companies.  Russell has also effectively represented employers before various agencies, including the EEOC, NLRB, OSHA and the Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development.  Russell has assisted in the drafting of employer policies and frequently provides guidance to companies to maintain compliance with employment-related laws.
