Sarah L. Kirk

Profile

Sarah Kirk is an employment litigator and focuses on all aspects of labor and employment law.  Sarah represents employers in the defense of actions brought under Title VII, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, and the Family and Medical Leave Act, as well as related state law claims. Sarah has published articles on labor and employment subjects, and has spoken at Continuing Legal Education seminars on labor and employment issues.

Before joining Ogletree Deakins in 2010, Sarah worked as a litigation associate at Mayer Brown, LLP in Chicago, Illinois and at an employment law firm in Merrillville, Indiana. 

Prior to her legal career, Sarah lived abroad in Munich, Germany where she worked as a consultant for BearingPoint Consulting.

Experience

Experience: 

Sarah advises on and litigates breach of contract, discrimination, harassment, wage/hour, ADEA, ADA, FMLA and wrongful termination matters.  Sarah also represents employers in administrative proceedings before federal and states agencies, including the United States Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.
