Bernard P. Jeweler

Mr. Jeweler has been practicing labor and employment law and handling labor and employment litigation since 1970. Before joining Ogletree Deakins, he was Assistant General Counsel at the National Labor Relations Board ("NLRB") in charge of contempt litigation in the U.S. Courts of Appeals nationwide. While at the NLRB, Mr. Jeweler also supervised appellate court enforcement litigation. Early in his career, Mr. Jeweler was in private practice in Baltimore, Maryland, specializing in labor and employment litigation, collective bargaining, and arbitration.

Mr. Jeweler has briefed and argued more than forty cases in federal and state appeals courts, and has represented clients in scores of labor arbitrations, NLRB proceedings and civil trials and hearings. He frequently negotiates collective bargaining agreements for employers. He has lectured at the college level in labor law and arbitration. Mr. Jeweler is a Fellow in the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers.  Mr. Jeweler earned the distinction of being named by Labor Relations Institute as one of The Top 100 Labor Lawyers In The United States in 2006 and 2007.
