Mr. Humber represents management in a wide variety of labor and employment litigation matters. He has successfully defended employers in state and federal courts and administrative agencies throughout the country. He has experience handling high-stakes class and collective action suits, discrimination claims, wage and hour claims, and safety and health enforcement actions. Mr. Humber has also represented employers in traditional labor matters such as NLRB proceedings, grievance arbitrations, unfair labor practice charges, and organizing campaigns.
As an adjunct to his litigation practice, Mr. Humber provides counseling to employers regarding a broad range of subjects including traditional labor law, covenants not to compete, leave and other employment policies, wage and hour issues, employment and separation agreements, reductions in force, and safety and health compliance.
Experience
Mr. Humber has successfully represented employers in EEOC pattern and practice cases, wage and hour collective actions, and private class action discrimination suits. He also has defended employers against discrimination charges and single-plaintiff lawsuits in the package handling, grocery, home improvement, health care, and defense contracting industries, among others.
Mr. Humber has assisted employers with traditional labor matters ranging from union avoidance strategies, contract maintenance, and arbitrations.
