Dennis C. DePalma has over ten years experience in representing employers in litigation and providing counseling on a variety of labor and employment matters, including the California Fair Employment and Housing Act, Title VII, Americans with Disabilities Act, Family and Medical Leave Act, and federal and California wage and hour issues.
In litigation, Dennis defends employers against claims of discrimination and harassment based on race, age, gender, national origin, disability, and other protected classes, as well as claims of wrongful termination and retaliation. Dennis also represents employers in wage and hour litigation, including class actions, involving claims for overtime violations, meal and rest period violations, waiting time penalties and other purported wage and hour violations. Dennis also represents employers before the California Court of Appeal.
Dennis also advises employers regarding personnel policies, wage and hour compliance, disability accommodations, leave issues, employee discipline matters, and other employment issues.
