Mr. Bolesta represents management in a wide variety of labor and employment litigation matters. He has successfully defended employers in federal and state administrative agencies such as the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the National Labor Relations Board, as well as in state and federal courts. Mr. Bolesta also routinely provides advice in matters such as compliance with anti-discrimination laws, union avoidance and collective bargaining, family and medical leave, and fair labor standards.
Prior to joining Ogletree, Deakins, Nash, Smoak & Stewart, P.C., Mr. Bolesta was an associate with Kollman & Saucier, P.A., focusing exclusively on representing management in labor and employment litigation. In addition to his work as a labor and employment litigator, Mr. Bolesta also gained significant experience in business litigation, corporate matters, and healthcare regulatory compliance while serving as general counsel to several medical equipment supply and management consulting firms based in Maryland. While attending law school, Mr. Bolesta interned for the Federal District Court for the District of Delaware, and the Circuit Court for Baltimore City. Following graduation, Mr. Bolesta served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Eric M. Johnson of the Circuit Court for Montgomery County, Maryland.
In addition to the practice of law, Mr. Bolesta is an active member of the Maryland State Bar Association, where he currently serves as a member of the MSBA’s Membership Committee.
