Kristy Offitt is an employment litigator, representing employers in a variety of matters, including the defense of actions brought under the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Family Medical Leave Act, Title VII, the Pregnancy Discrimination Act and the Age Discrimination Act as well as related state law claims. Kristy also defends employers in putative collective actions brought under the Fair Labor Standards Act. Kristy has experience litigating single plaintiff, class and collective action cases. In addition, Kristy provides advice to employers on compliance, litigation avoidance and employee discipline and termination issues and other related personnel issues.
Kristy graduated from the University of Southern California Law School where she was a Production Editor for USC’s Review of Law and Social Justice. During law school, Kristy represented clients through USC’s Immigration Law Clinic and volunteered at the Santa Monica Domestic Violence clinic.
