Before joining Ogletree Deakins in 2010, Mike Johnson was the Senior Manager of Human Resources for an international manufacturing company with operations in eastern Tennessee. Mr. Johnson has worked in the human resources field for over 15 years, and during this time he was responsible for maintaining union free operations by implementing innovative employee friendly systems, conducting labor audits and interactive employee and management training, and leading company campaigns during union activity. While attending law school, Mr. Johnson was the recipient of a Cecil C. Humphries Fellowship in the area of Employment and Labor Law, and was selected to spend a semester working as an extern at the Region 26 National Labor Relations Board.
