Ms. Oshima has defended employers in both state and federal courts, as well as in administrative proceedings. She has provided preventive employment counseling and defended clients in matters involving the full spectrum of employment claims, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, workplace torts, and breach of contract.
Before joining Ogletree Deakins, Ms. Oshima was an associate at a prominent full practice firm in Detroit where she represented national and local clients in employment, commercial, and general litigation matters.
Ms. Oshima graduated magna cum laude from the University of Toledo College of Law, where she served as the Senior Articles Editor of the Toledo Law Review.
